Houston Airports welcomed the arrival of ZIPAIR's inaugural flight from Tokyo, Japan with a grand celebration and a traditional water cannon salute, marking the beginning of an exciting new connection between Houston and Tokyo.
The celebration at Gate 14 at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) Terminal D welcomed passengers and crew with a vibrant atmosphere featuring live music from the Houston Airports Harmony in the Air Program. Adding to the excitement, a local Japanese drumming ensemble, Kaminari Taiko, mesmerized the crowd with their dynamic rhythms and vibrant choreography.
